Frequently Asked Questions

How long is each session/visit?
At R3 Movement & Performance, we understand time is important and it’s something that we value. Both the initial evaluation and treatment sessions are 60 minutes, but we offer flexibility depending on your needs for that day.
What should I wear?
You should bring clothes that allow you to move easily and make it easy to see the area of the body that we are working on.
Ladies: We recommend wearing shorts vs. yoga pants so that we have access to your hip or knee, and a sports bra or tank top for any shoulder, neck and upper back evaluations.
Gentlemen: We also recommend shorts so that we have access to your hip or knee, and a t-shirt or tank top for shoulder, neck and upper back evaluations
There are restrooms in the facility or you are also welcome to change in the office if needed.
Do I need a referral?
No, Ohio is a direct access state which means you can contact our office and make an appointment without a referral from a doctor. Direct access gives you more control to make your own treatment choices!
Do you take my insurance?
R3 Movement & Performance is a cash based practice, which means we do not submit claims to insurance. This is an intentional decision that allows our clinicians to provide the care you deserve, without being restrictions by insurance companies.
As a cash based practice, we are considered an “out of network provider” and we accept payment at the time of your appointment from you directly. However, you may be able to submit a paid bill for services to your insurance company for possible reimbursement depending on your insurance plan.
Patients may pay for services via credit card, HSA, FSA, cash, or check.
Do You Have a Cancellation Fee?
We require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled appointment cost. Patients that "No-Show" for their appointment will be charged 100% of the scheduled appointment cost.
